Kia ora!
My name is Bronte (pronounced Brontay). When it comes to one of the most important decisions of your life, all rational can leave you. In my parent's case, it never even existed. You could blame the mispronunciation of my name on the fact that my parents wanted to be unique and quirky. It could be because they lived in Ashburton, or maybe it's because they copied my name directly from a list in a Nickelodeon Birthday announcement. I guess we'll never know.
I am one of three hosts on the breakfast show, The Wake Up Call. I am also a part of the Creative team for Waves 96.1.
Working alongside Bob and Abby to bring the Wake Up Call to life has pushed me outside my comfort zone and deepened my understanding of the importance of being your true, authentic self.
I am a driven and creative individual, passionate about creating meaningful content that connects with audiences. While writing stings and commercials, I have further developed my communication and problem-solving abilities and challenged myself to think outside the box. I am excited to learn how to be a good storyteller and write authentic and entertaining advertisements and content.
